I’m in Corsica right now. Absolutely beautiful but going over narrow mountain passes on a 50 seater bus is terrifying, even if I’m not the one driving! And talk about eat!!!! They could probably just roll me down to the port at this rate! Still it’s lovely and well worth the trip!
I can't wait to hear all about your trip!! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteIt’s been great. A lovely island with beaches, mountains and mediaeval villages all thrown in. What more could I ask for?
DeleteGorgeous picture. Take deep breaths over the mountain passes, and please eat some dessert for me :) have fun!
ReplyDeleteThere’ve been way too many hairpin mountain passes for my liking but I hope some of my pictures can convey that. And of course now I can’t wait to get home and start trying recipes again. Had a wonderful dessert today called fiadone - you should look it up. For the cheese I guess it’s a form of ricotta. Heaven on earth!
DeleteI love your sharing your trips with us!
ReplyDeleteIt’s a pleasure for me to be able to look back on them too so I’m glad you enjoy sharing them with me! Looking forward to a little down time soon though!
DeleteOne of my bicycle rides was filmed on the highway going up the eastern side of the island, and then down the western side. It is simply lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe worst so far has been les Calanques de Piana. And THEN we met other buses coming in the opposite direction!!! Hats off to those drivers is all I can say!
DeleteI would not be looking out the bus windows as the driver navigates those roads!
ReplyDeleteMore often than not you couldn’t see the road anyway, just the drop!!!!
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt really is! More than lived up to my expectations!
