I mean, my birth certificate!! I could do that myself. Thankfully my marriage, divorce and the kids' birth certificates are noted on what they call a Livret de Famille (your "official" family book) so that will be easy. Oh well, I'll think about that after March. And yep, I'm now looking forward to Sri Lanka. I always worry when I go on these trips in winter that I will get caught in bad weather but the weather for Zurich next week looks just as glorious as here!Treadershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08613671137557939083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4674486998769998428.post-70856320848414989392019-02-25T00:13:51.549+00:002019-02-25T00:13:51.549+00:00What a pain in the arse all the brexit crap is. I hope you have a fabulous time on your trip to Sri Lanka - take lots of photos!!Cheapchickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15158208632054014311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4674486998769998428.post-41660904253489000582019-02-24T23:08:43.673+00:002019-02-24T23:08:43.673+00:00I'm not too worried about the residency stuff....I'm not too worried about the residency stuff. I had to have a permit when I first moved into France in 1990 (then I didn't need it later under EU rules) and I also had to do all the paperwork for my green card when we lived in the US. The problem here is that the authorities don't know what to do yet so we are left in limbo. As for the taxes, I already paid "an expert" (who gave me wrong info), so I have to get the appointment with the real deal, and yep, I won't try doing that myself. Don't want any hassle over taxes with my income being down by 2/3rds from when I was working!Treadershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08613671137557939083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4674486998769998428.post-60566086986438674792019-02-24T22:34:55.461+00:002019-02-24T22:34:55.461+00:00I can't imagine how much time it might take fo...I can't imagine how much time it might take for your to get the residency paperwork and tax situation taken care of good luck.
