To be honest 13 km didn't faze me that much, not because I'm Wonder Women but because I couldn't really imagine it in my head, although for me 10,000 steps works out at about 6 km and I struggle to do that in a day. But for someone who likes neither almonds nor apricots that much, that cake was a dream. K's mom is German so that might be a clue! Not sure I'd be up for that, in the mountains at that. I'd be up for apricot almond cake...does that count?

I was born and grew up about an hour's drive from where Richard Wagner lived in Bayreuth. It being my first one,and unbeknownst to me, the place my doctor recommended (next door to her office) was not up to date with their equipment. A couple years later I had to do it again, but this place was no longer in business, so I went to a different place. No pain at all. When I told the technician about my first experience and where it was, she was like "OMG - that place had the oldest equipment and they went out of business because they couldn't afford to updgrade". I've had several of them over the years and none hurt, just a bit uncomfortable is all. Good job on the hike! One Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00369132659573259613noreply@blogger.com
